Some of you who know me or my husband know that this year has been full of new beginnings.  In March we welcomed our new baby boy into our family, in April we packed up and moved to Evanston and just this month my husband left work to start his full time MBA program at Northwestern.  This Thursday was his last day and it was bittersweet.  New beginnings are always exciting but also a bit sad as you close one chapter and turn the page to begin a new one.  Luckily, my husband LOVES education and studying so I have no doubt that he will be full of success.  Plus, I expect there to be a lot of FREE business consulting on the way!

As part of the preparatory activities for school, we are going on a little family trip to Lake Geneva with other families in the same business program.  Our itinerary involves lots of bonding and spending time at the water park.  We will see how our little one does.  In preparation for this trip, the leaders asked that we bring a costume for our little guy and a wig.  None of which we had….so I quickly searched far and wide for the PERFECT wig for Dave.  Check it out for yourself, I’m sure you’ll agree that I picked well.

Well, he may never get hired again once the world sees these pictures….and ladies don’t be jealous that I took this guy off the market.  I almost couldn’t take these pictures because I was laughing so hard.  I’m glad he loves to humor me and certainly doesn’t mind looking silly.  Here’s to new beginnings, new adventures and always taking time for a laugh! 🙂
