Kris and Ron met several years ago when they were working together. Ron proposed at the very place where they had their first date and the rest is history! They chose to have their wedding ceremony and reception at the fabulous Hotel Baker in St. Charles. If you didn’t already know Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlburg also had a Hotel Baker wedding, so you know these two have wonderful taste! Speaking of celebrities, my lucky bride and groom were quite surprised when Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlburg showed up to have an intimate dinner at Hotel Baker. They were even more excited when they got to meet the two celebrities at the end of their already awesome day!!

As we all know the weather in Chicago can change at any moment and this early October wedding day ended up being quite cold and somewhat rainy. The bride and groom had to quickly change plans and move their ceremony indoors. The Rainbow room was set up perfectly for their indoor ceremony and the rain held off so that we could take some beautiful pictures in the hotel garden.
