Park for more bridal party shots.I’ve been dying to show you all one of my favorite weddings of last year! Ana and Matt met and fell in love in the beautiful city of Chicago. It was only fitting that their wedding take place in some of Chicago’s most stunning spots. I absolutely LOVE shooting in the city and when Ana contacted me about her wedding and started sharing all of the pretty details, I was drooling!

Ana got ready in one of the most gorgeous rooms ever at the magnificent Drake hotel. Talk about old city glam!! The suite had an amazing view of the lake too!

If that wasn’t beautiful enough, we then headed to the Fourth Presbyterian church on Michigan Avenue. This place has always had a special place in my heart because that’s where Dave proposed to me, so I’m always thrilled to be able to shoot there!

This church is often known for their beautiful chapel but most people don’t know that this church actually extends and is actually very big and includes a more modern chapel inside. I stole the bride for a few moments before the ceremony to capture some images of her in that space!

We headed quickly to Michigan Avenue for a few quick shots before we landed at Millennium Park.

I have to give a huge shout out to my girl, Erica, because I made her take a cab to the Murphy all by herself so that she could catch some of these gorgeous detail shots at the reception! 🙂 Speaking of the Murphy Auditorium…this place was simply stunning! I don’t think most people know about it but it is just breathtaking!

Another thing I LOVED about this wedding was the Ukrainian traditions that the bride included to honor her heritage. This included a special cake, presented by her parents, followed by a binding of their hands. Later on during the reception they even had traditional Ukrainian dancers. It made this wedding so incredibly unique!
