I first met Liju and Sonia last fall as we chatted about their end of May wedding that’s coming up VERY soon! When I asked them where they wanted to have their engagement photos taken, they both immediately said Chicago. It was the place where they met so of course we had to go to some of their favorite downtown locations to capture their love.

We started off by taking pictures near their work….they work together isn’t that adorable?

We then headed towards Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago for some shots near by. I was loving the light this weekend and thankfully, the weather was kind enough to cooperate with us.

I was telling these two as we were walking around that I LOVE shooting in Chicago and it just never gets old to me! This is one spot I had never really shot before so it’s always fun to discover new areas.

Of course, the sun was setting and I knew exactly where to go to get that beautiful sun in the background!!

We then headed of to The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) campus where they showed me one of their favorite look out spots. Isn’t the skyline just perfect?!
