Last year my husband and I took a trip to San Francisco and I came back thinking…why would anyone ever want to live in Chicago?! Well, those of us in Chicago probably say that at least once each year, especially during winter. Every time I take Chicago engagement photos I am reminded of why I live here, why I love this city!! Of course, I was thrilled when Rachel and John wanted to have their pictures taken in the Windy City!

I met Rachel and John a few months ago. They were referred to me by another photographer…which by the away ALWAYS blows me away!!! Anyway, these two are SO perfect for each other. They are both school administrators in the same district….seriously folks, how cute is that?! This entire engagement session was taken in spots around the city that have a special meaning to them. John proposed to Rachel at the Daley Plaza after taking her to a show at the Goodman Theatre. We also took some Chicago engagement photos in Roscoe Village where they had their first date and then later their first kiss. They had their first date at the Four Moon Tavern, which John says is his favorite place! So those of you near Roscoe Village, go check it out! Oh and doesn’t Rachel have some serious style?! Her shoes, jacket, hair & make-up were just perfect!!
