I thought I would share with you all a little insight on how I view my photo business and more specifically, my brides.  Every time I get an inquiry for a potential wedding gig, a smile pops on my face.  To me, it is another opportunity to meet someone new, to share in the excitement of their most important day…and of course, an opportunity to help capture their special day through my photos.  I LOVE meeting with each of my brides, either in person or by phone to get to know their story.  Brides who meet me or do an engagement session with me know I love to ask questions and I know I must drive some of them crazy because  I want to know everything!  How did you meet?  How did he propose? What are you most excited about for your wedding?

What’s the point, you ask?

My brides are not just a business deal to me!  The more I learn about my brides, the better I can capture their personalities through my camera.  I want to work with brides who want to have a relationship with me, their photographer, because they care to have the best quality experience and top quality pictures at their wedding.  I’m not such someone they hired, I’m a friend, someone they can trust.  That is my goal and the feeling I hope to give all my brides.
