Kyle and Kathleen had a beautiful Valley Lo Club Wedding this summer.  Kathleen got ready at her aunt’s house and it was such a delight to capture a few moments with her and her best friends.  Erica and I then headed over to snap a few shots of Kyle and his guys getting ready.  They were already combatting the heat in their suits but had such a great attitude about it!  The ceremony was held at one of my favorite Catholic churches in Chicago, St. Juliana’s.  This parish is stunning with it’s more modern design and huge ceilings.  It also has some lovely stain glass windows that add to the beauty of the church.  Despite a few torrential downpours that happened just as the ceremony ended, we still managed to get some gorgeous photos of the couple and their bridal party at the historic Grove in Glenview.   I have to give a shout out to my girl, Erica who drove back to my apartment in the middle of a crazy storm to get some umbrellas for our group.  Of course, once we got to The Grove, we no longer needed them really since the clouds parted and miraculously gave us those much needed moments of sunshine for our photos. We then headed off for their fun reception at the Valley Lo Country Club.  Kyle and Kathleen hired the fabulous “One Night Band” to perform.  They were absolutely fantastic and really added to the energy on the dance floor.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite moments from their lovely Valley Lo Club wedding!
