I can’t wait to share these Millennium Park Engagement pictures with you all. First, let me tell you a little about this fabulous couple! Kate and Chris met in high school….they both attended my high school although they were a few years behind me! The fun part of their story is that according to them, they actually couldn’t stand each other at first. Of course, I was just as curious as you probably are, wondering how a couple goes from “I can’t stand you” to “I want to spend the rest of my life with you”. At some point they did eventually become friends in high school and their friendship lasted through the college years. I guess you can say time made their hearts fonder for each other!

This past weekend was surprisingly cold. Especially since here in Chicago we really thought the Spring warmth would be around more often. Anyway, I first met Kate and Chris by the Adler Planetarium where we were able to get some beautiful shots with the city skyline in the background. The wind was brutal in that location so we quickly moved on to take the Millennium Park engagement pictures. I really love photographing at Millennium Park. There are a lot of hidden little areas that are great for taking pictures. I especially love this time of year when the line of trees start blooming and the white flowers pop out! Sometimes people can be a little hesitant to shoot Millennium Park engagement pictures because it is so easy to associate Millennium Park with the bean. I have found most Chicago people either love or hate the bean. Luckily, I think we did a good job of finding some great spots that didn’t involve the bean! What do you think?
