Hey there!  If you’re from Chicago, I’m sure you enjoyed this past weekend’s unusually warm weather.  I certainly did and I was thrilled to be able to take these Millennium Park engagement photos on Saturday.  I had the pleasure of “meeting” Lisa over the phone as we chatted about working together for her wedding.  I knew after our phone conversation that we would be a great fit!  Soon after we began planning her engagement session.  She mentioned that she wanted one in February and in downtown Chicago.  Both her and Austin wanted a more urban look and what a better location to start off their session than at Millennium Park!

This is just a small little sneak peek at some of my favorite of their Millennium Park engagement photos.  We also ventured off and took some pictures by the Michigan Avenue Bridge and ended the session at Olive Park.  Lisa and Austin asked me during the session where I like shooting most.  I had to be honest and say that I just LOVE shooting in downtown Chicago.  Every couple has different areas that they like but our city is absolutely beautiful and I really never get tired of it!  I also can’t complain about the wonderful weather we had.  I think we were all prepared to bundle up for the session but were so thankful to be able to walk around with light coats on this particular day.  Lisa and Austin, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding day in October!!
